How it Works
- Systemic Action: The herbicide is absorbed by the weed's roots and foliage and moves throughout the plant via the xylem and phloem.
- ALS Inhibitor: It stops the production of essential branched-chain amino acids, which are vital for protein synthesis and plant growth.
- Residual Activity: Imazethapyr remains in the soil, providing extended weed control and preventing new weed growth for a period of time.
Key Features
- Broad-Spectrum Control: Effectively manages both broadleaf weeds and grasses.
- Crop Safety: Selectively targets weeds, leaving the main crops unharmed.
- Flexibility: Applied after the weeds emerge (post-emergence), offering flexibility in application timing.
- Enhanced Crop Health: Reduces competition for resources, leading to healthier crops and increased productivity.
- Common Crops: soybean, groundnut, moong, urad, and other legume crops.
