How it Works
- Systemic Action: Metalaxyl is absorbed by the plant and moves systemically, providing protection from the inside out.
 - Inhibits RNA Synthesis: It works by inhibiting RNA synthesis in fungi, which stops fungal growth and leads to the pathogen's death.
 - Protective & Curative: It offers both protective (preventive) and curative (treatment) actions against fungal diseases.

Uses
- Seed Treatment: It is applied as a slurry to seeds before planting to protect them from soil-borne and seed-borne diseases during the vulnerable germination and early growth stages.
 - Crop Protection: It is used for crops such as: Maize, Bajra, Sorghum, Sunflower, Mustard, other horticultural crops, and vegetables.
 - Name of Diseases: Sorghum Downy Mildew, Sugarcane Downy Mildew, White Rust, Philippine Downy Mildew, Downy Mildew, Brown Stripe.

Key Benefits
- Double Protection: Offers protection from both inside the plant and on the leaf surface.
 - Broad-Spectrum Control: Effective against a wide range of oomycete fungi.
 - Long-Lasting Control: Provides durable, long-lasting disease protection.
 - Uniform Seed Coating: Ensures even coverage for effective disease control.
